What Is It?
A small synthetic molecule (not a peptide) built at Saint Louis University by the Burris lab. First reported in 2023. Research-only status. Zero human trials. WADA banned it before any human ever tried it.
How Does It Work?
When you run, your muscles switch on a genetic program. SLU-PP-332 flips DDIT4 without the running. It tells your muscles you exercised. Even when you didn't move. Activates ERR receptors (alpha, beta, gamma) — orphan nuclear receptors that govern metabolism. Triggers mitochondrial biogenesis and Type IIa skeletal muscle fiber development. All observed in mice only.
Primary Benefits (research suggests)
- Sedentary mice ran further
- Obese mice lost fat
- Aged mice showed kidney recovery
- All preclinical

- WADA banned it before humans tried it (published doping assays in 2026).
- Zero human clinical trials.
- ERR receptors are everywhere in the body — off-target effects in unstudied tissues are completely unknown.
- Long-term safety unknown (studies only 4-12 weeks).
- For research purposes only.
